Manage Trading and Risk
Use this guide after subscribing and before enabling live execution.
Start with the Basic controls
Open My Subscriptions, select an agent, and review:
- Capital: the amount of account value the agent may use as its sizing basis.
- Default stake: the normal amount requested for each trade. On Deriv, editing this value uses fixed-stake behavior.
- Take profit: the profit threshold used to close or protect a position when supported.
- Stop loss: the loss threshold used to limit a position when supported.
- Daily risk limit: the maximum daily exposure or loss budget allowed by your configuration.
Expert settings expose additional execution controls. Change them only when you understand how they interact with the agent and exchange.
Choose a subscription mode
| Mode | What happens |
|---|---|
| Active | Receives signals and may place trades when credentials and the dashboard are ready. |
| Passive | Receives signals but does not place trades. Use this to observe an agent first. |
| Paused | Stops the subscription feed until you resume it. |
For a multi-agent plan, each agent can have a stricter override. Always check the selected agent before saving changes.
Monitor and troubleshoot
- Review trades and signals from the subscription or agent page. Expand an execution to see the source agent, dashboard, market mapping, requested stake, and result.
- Open Instances for runtime states such as Running, Paused, Error, or Stopped.
- Check Notifications for trading, billing, deployment, and subscription events.
- If a dashboard is unreachable, inspect it in Dashboards before retrying or resuming execution.
Pause execution before investigating unexpected behavior. Use Talk to a person for ambiguous trades, billing issues, or account incidents, and never paste exchange credentials into support chat.
